Praying for a Media Flip Flop

This is not what the media will be saying tomorrow if Republicans go 2 for 3 today. However, they will repeat it endlessly if the Democrats go 2 for 3 today. Regardless, the off-off year elections are not predictors of the following off-year elections. Governors Warner and McGreevey did wonders for the Democrats in 2002. Nevertheless, don’t let us down Virginia!

What are the three? I know of NJ and VA. What’s the third race you’re watching?

New York City. Republicans have one in the bag. That’s why I’m not talking about either side sweeping.

P.S. I am also assuming a probable Democrat win in NJ. I see VA as the “swing election”. It is possible, though unlikely, that the Republicans will sweep today. Democrats have no shot in NYC.

Also in play are the ballot initiatives in CA, which frankly are more interesting than the office races in NJ and VA.

Those initiatives won’t make or break careers
