Next fronts in the War on Terror

In order to successfully win the War on Terror, two new fronts need to be opened, war waged, and won. Iran and Syria.

Iran is intensifying its nuclear program and is a stronghold for Al Qaeda. Syria is aiding Iraq insurgents, and is suspected of plotting and executing the assassination of the Prime Minister of Lebanon.

I believe that one of the untold reasons why we went into Iraq first was that it provided a convenient staging ground for the next fronts in the war, Syria and Iran. For us to be ultimately successful in the War on Terror, we must ensure that these regimes no longer provide a safe haven for Terrorists, Al Qaeda or otherwise.
