An article in Esquire claims that Bill Clinton is the world’s most influential man. Right. And Robert Byrd is the leader of the civil rights movement.

He influenced nothing as President. He has infuenced nothing since. The crowning policy achievement of his Presidency was authored by Regan and negotiated by Bush before Clinton supported it. Other than that it was v-chips and school uniforms.

I’ll take the president who is fighting and winning the war on terror rather than the one who turned down the offer to take Bin Laden into custody because he didn’t have a legal justification for it.
