Misleading Hyper-journalism

By reading this headline, one may get the impression that the evil, insidious American Fascist regime is mounting its own mini-Holocaust-in-training on the poor, struggling heroes of al Qaeda and other terrorist groups. The truth is that we live in a very dangerous world, the US (maybe GB) is the only country taking this War on Terror really seriously, we have the world’s best military, so… we’re going to have lots of prisoners: 83,000 in four years and from dozens of countries. Only 14,500 now.
If these 14,500 have been vetted as the bad-guys, then great! Misleading hyper-journalism, however, would leave us with a negative impression of this–as if we ought to let some of these truly authentic bad-guys go. “Football stadiums” and other pointless analogies do nothing to help us in this war.

Also important is what the MSM doesn’t see in this story. Success in the GWOT.
