Valerie Plame Case: Enter Woodward?

Apparently Bob Woodward testified yesterday testified that he heard about Valerie Plame from a senior administration official prior to lobbies first recorded conversation about her. He also relayed that conversation to another person, who does not recall the conversation.

This seems to me to undermine some of the statements outlined in the indictment of Scooter Libby, specifically the idea that he had heard about Plame from reporters. It seems now that this may be plausible. Will this have any affect on the indictment? I’ll leave that to the Legal wing of Axis of Right to make that assessment. At the very least, I would think it provides ammo to the defense.
