Nominations for most Unreported story

For my first nomination, I nominate the economy. The health of the economy is one of the most underreported stories. With GDP Growth of anywhere between 3.8% and 4.2% in the last quarter, and the stock market hitting a 4 1/2 year high, our economy is booming. The reasons for this are:

  1. The resourcefulness and ingenuity of the American People
  2. The tax cuts of the last 4 years.

Yet you hardly hear a word of this in the MSM. Why? Because it would make George W. Bush look good. For this reason alone, his poll numbers should be in the mid 50′s.
