Tories United

David Davis has offered his congratulations to the new Leader of the Opposition. Davis’ words represent more than mere good sportsmanship. This is a dramatic shift for a party which has been hopelessly divided for over a decade. Margaret Thatcher AND John Major are on board.

Tony Blair has been a courageous leader and trusted friend to the United States. Unfortunately, he is not running again. As long as Labour is in power, there remains a risk that some socialist nutjob could take over their party’s leadership. This would undoubtedly harm the “special relationship” between the U.S. and the U.K. because leftists can’t stand a strong America teaming up with a strong Britain. The “special relationship” will remain as strong as ever if David Cameron becomes Prime Minister.
