Australia’s Medway Golf Club recently refused entry to former President Clinton. The club stated that they could not deprive their paying customers of a round, even for an ex-President. I especially appreciated the reaction of club members to the news:
“We would have played with him — golf, that is.”

Oh darn, poor Clinton…Apparently the whole lying thing according to Van Natta and Buzz Patterson ,has moved on to his golf game. According to the authors, he likes mulligans…big surprise there.
We can all take the p… at Clinton for his inability to keep his snake in his pants, but I do have to appreciate the hard work the guy has done both with GB senior in fund raising and his work on AIDS prevention and access to drugs.
I’m glad the club didn’t shut the course for him. He would have been welcome to play a round like any visitor, but down here we try to treat everyone as equal.
