The Patriot Act

The Patriot act neared assured passage today with a 69-30 vote to limit debate (thus preventing a filibuster). Final passage by the Senate is expected next week, and the House will vote and pass the bill shortly after that.

This is a major victory for the Country. The tools in the Patriot act have helped the government fight terrorism and prevent attacks over the last 4+ years since 9/11. So, Sen. Reid, you did not “Kill the Patriot Act”.

Still shows that 30 Senators have no clue or are purposely putting politics above safety. I wonder how many Democrats were part of that 30?

Thankfully the RINO standings remain unchanged.
