Harry Reid Criticizes Himself

Ann Coulter once observed that “Liberals simply can’t grasp the problem Lexis-Nexis poses to their incessant lying.” Three years after Annie C. penned those words, it appears that Harry Reid still fails to understand not only Lexis-Nexis, but also the consequences of Al Gore’s invention. Wizbang has an excellent post concerning Reid’s inability to understand that people are capable of examining his record.

Reid criticized yesterday’s Supreme Court decision upholding the ban on partial birth abortion. Aside from the extreme nature of that position, Reid’s statement is laughable because he actually voted for the legislation the Court upheld. Reid’s spinelessness is so obvious even NPR is calling him out.

This isn’t the first time Reid has criticized himself. The Wizbang link makes that clear. It’s just astounding that three years after Annie C. mentioned Lexis-Nexis, Harry Reid doesn’t seem to realize that a lot of people own computers now. Either that, or his hatred of President Bush and/or love of the Star Wars bar crowd is so severe, he’s willing to make a fool of himself by slamming himself.

Star Wars crowd indeed. We can call Schumer the dark sith lord who one by one brings Pro-Life Democrats over to the dark side – Kennedy, Durbin, and now apparently Reid. I suppose Casey will be his next targeted apprentice.
