Jim Gilmore dropped out of the Presidential campaign this weekend and that got me thinking about another candidate destined for the same fate.
This Mike Gravel internet ad is quite old now but since we never posted it and I think its funny, here you go.

On Gilmore: he just wasn’t able to distinguish himself like Mike Huckabee has, from an “also-ran” to a just-under-the-first-tier candidate. Tommy Thompson, Tom Tancredo, and the irrepressible Ron Paul should think about reevaluating their futures in this race. Duncan Hunter can wait around form the Veep nod.
On Gravel: Brilliant ad. About as exciting as his campaign.
Happy day that Gilmore has left the race. He failed to lower taxes as promised and announced a position that is pro-choice. I agree that Ron Paul, Tommy Thompson and Tom Tancredo should bail and Hunter would make a fine veep.
On Gravel’s ad, that was the most boring 2:50 of my life that I’ll never get back. Is his point he’s got nothing to say? We already know that.
