A crooked NBA official? I am just so . . . shocked. NBA games always seemed so fair; the calls, so down-the-middle. This can’t be right.

I swear this guy called every single playoff game Shaq was in! Being within three feet of Shaq was an automatic foul during most of the Laker’s run back in the day. Though I can’t say I’m shocked that there cold be a bum ref in the NBA.
When this news broke I had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming.
In all seriousness, I am not surprised.
Back in the day when I used to actually like and respect (well, that might be a little strong) the NBA, I was a Knicks fan before they turned to the Dark Side. It was evident to any fan that a certain Chicago Bull (mind you, I’m not taking anything away from the fanstastic play of this certain Chicago Bull) was heavily favored by the refs and what might be considered a foul for Patrick Ewing would not be considered a foul for that Chicago Bull. Favoritism by the refs was not only limited to him, but it ran rampant in the NBA in the 80s and 90s.
The ref scandal only scratches the surface of what is wrong with the NBA.
