If any post ever fell into the “anything else” category, this would be it. Have any of you ever seen nachos topped with American cheese? If you haven’t but do in the future, don’t eat them.

Come to think of it, I don’t think I have. In my experience they’ve just been topped with “nacho cheese” (whatever that is), cheddar, a spicy kind of cheese, shredded processed cheese product, etc. Maybe some of that was American cheese, maybe not. It doesn’t sound good either way. Funny, I’ve never thought about what kind of cheese goes on nachos, the cheese just shows up on top of it. I’ll ask, next time I get nachos.
I don’t think I have either…usually Cheddar and Monterrey Jack. I’ll tell you something interesting I saw last week when I went to Cheeseburger in Paradise with a few colleagues: Chocolate Nachos…and not too bad either.
