Where was this in Iowa and New Hampshire? He was impassioned, articulate and definitely a presense in the debate and someone to watch in this race.Is it too late, though? I don't think so. Just like my guy Romney needed to win Iowa, needed to win New Hampshire, needs to win Michigan, and so forth, with Super Tuesday's 22 contests, no one is out until February 6. If Thompson doesn't win in South Carolina, but comes in a strong second or third, he might be knocking on the door towards the nomination. My initial hesitancy with supporting Thompson is that although he is conservative and Presidential, he had low energy, wasn't enthusiastic and didn't seem really into the whole thing. They are willing to forfeit their own conservative values for liberal views by tonights candidates. Excuse me but I refuse to give up.
