Obama: Classic Lib

In case you were wondering, Drudge linked to a post by the Politico’s Ben Smith that demonstrates beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama is a classic Lib, with typical condescension towards people they claim to represent and connect with.

Here’s Barry!

“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them…And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

And he wants to win Pennsylvania?  That rhetoric might play to limosine liberals and urban-elite pinky-extended types, but the down-home people of “Pennsyltucky“ probably won’t appreciate being denegrated as such.  We’ll see though — this year’s been pretty crazy.

Obama’s dumb and insensitve comments proves the theory that Liberals and Democrats do not truly support the working and/or middle class, they only mealy-mouth them. They really resent and have contempt for them and anyone they believe to be in ‘fly-over country.’ These are the same liberals that stick their noses up at NASCAR, Walmart (they were kept out of Chicago…Obama’s territory) and anything that lacks what they claim as ‘sophistication.’

I believe that these comments have the potential to be more detrimental that “The Wrong Rev. Wright.” SWMNBN is going to run with this, as is McCain, as they both should. We’ll see where this goes.
