The latest Joe Biden gaffe is as follows:
“Mark my words… it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
So, if Obama gets elected, his Veep has already assured that some entity around the world will take advantage of a weak man in charge of a strong nation and possibly bring on a major international crisis.
Oh Joe.
Kennedy botched up his slight electoral mojo within four months of entering office with the Bay of Pigs fiasco and asked to negotiate with the Soviets from a position of weakness thereafter. That sign of weakness and not finishing the job with Castro led directly to the closest we ever came to nuclear annihilation in the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Biden, again, articulates a real problem many have with Obama, and compares him to JFK who really goofed things up nearly at the expense of the civilized world. If JFK can lead us down a potential dark path of destruction, what the heck will the careless and militarily ignorant Obama do when faced with a real interantional crisis in today’s day and age? Is it Halloween yet, because that thought is scary!

Chia Biden’s comment tells me three things:
1) He’s an idiot and just revealed to Americans that he is thinking what most of America is thinking: this guy is weak, has no experience and will be taken advantage of.
2) He read some intel (as VP Nominee and Senate Foreign Relations Chair) and because he leaks as much as Leahy, this was his way of not being able to keep a secret.
3) He’s got to prop him up and compare him to JFK the same way John Kerry, Al Gore, Bill Clinton and Michael Dukakis. With the exception of BJ, all were gen. ed losers and he thinks Obama is on the way to losing.
Don’t know which one, but forget about Halloween…if the Republicans can use this against the Democrats, it will be Christmas on 11/4!
