One of the early criticisms of Gov. Sarah Palin was her lack of availability to the press. She was criticized for not going on the Sunday shows or to Drive-By Media interviews, for not holding press conferences, and for generally not being available to the press.
While this may have been true in the early days of her candidacy, it is now no longer accurate. Palin has been making herself available regularly available through press conferences as well as informal Q&A sessions during campaign stops and on the campaign plane, and by all accounts she is getting quite good at it.
This is in stark contrast to both Sens. Barack Obama and Joe Biden, neither of whom have answered press questions since mid-September. The press is too busy fawning over their chosen one to make a stink about Team Obama’s lack of press questioning, yet not a month ago they were attacking Gov. Palin for the same thing.
