The Obama Half-Hour Variety Hour

I admit it, I watched a good part of the Obama Infomercial last night, just out of morbid curiosity.  I was, frankly, a bit disappointed it did not live up to its advertising.

I was really looking forward to that Bill Clinton number.

On a much more serious note, I thought that the infomercial was an absolute BORE.  I don’t think average Americans who tuned in would have stuck with it for more than a minute or two.  There was nothing interesting, it was over-produced, sappy, slow-paced, and did not have the Obama Hollywood “Pop” that I expected it to have.  I was somewhat nervous about the speech going into the night, but my gut says that it did him little or no good.

Rush’s pre-buttle of the speech is worth listening to.
