Obama is the Next President

The networks are now calling it for Obama.  There will be plenty of time for analysis in the coming days.  For now, we need to prepare for the onslaught of socialism in America.  I can’t believe that most Americans realize what they are getting into with Obama as President, and large Democrat majorities in the House and Senate.  For now, this bumper sticker sums up my feelings.

It appears it was a fair election with no significant screams of fraud from either side.

I hope like hell your fears are not realised over the next 4 years.

I know mine have been already here in Oz since the communists won…

I seriously pray for my country…this is Carter times 100…very, very bad. I pray for the military, stability of healthcare, preservation of the Constitution and our safety as a nation.

What is left of the Republican party had damn well better fight the onslaught of Socialism and return to its Conservative values and roots…for the safety and success of the United States.

I’ll say more in the next few days but I echo Oz here. The election was fair. We are not liberals who whine every time they lose. We are conservatives who recognize that democracy can only function when those who lose accept the result. Tonight is Obama’s night and he is our President-elect. I’m not happy about it, but you don’t always win in a democracy.

A few weeks ago, I heard someone say that when your candidate wins, he rarely turns out to be as good as you hoped and when the other candidate wins, he rarely turns out to be as bad as you feared. I hope that is true now.

More to come later.
