The Real McCain

The picture demonstrates everything one needs to know.

This is a Republican “maverick” — willing to work with the very Democrat who was actively trying to ruin him just two weeks ago, to whom McCain is politically and philosophically opposed on many issues.  McCain is the embodiment of the derangement “new tone” bipartisan nonsense has caused on our side of the aisle.

This is who he really is — McCain the media whore has returned.

His rapprochement with Obama makes political sense.  McCain wants his career to continue the way it has over the years as the beloved “maverick.”  Funny, he didn’t seem so eager to work with Bush in 2001.  McCain’s just not a very good Republican most of the time.  Now he’s positioning himself to be closer to Obama’s political table scraps in the new administration: the go-to guy looking for the approval of the Empty Suit Socialist and his merry agenda.

They’ll be lots of good photo ops over the next few years I’m sure; all of them to Obama’s advantage.  At least go out with some dignity John, you’re embarassing us who held our noses to vote for you.

Obama offering McCain post-election scraps is even better than Clinton forcing Newt to enter Air Force One through the back door!

That picture makes me sick and as you said, it is embarassing. An American hero genuflecting at the feet of “The Messiah”…sad, sad sad. Not a way to go out with grace

This could merely be graciousness. I hope this is merely graciousness. We’ll know soon.
