Barry’s Green Shamrock Shore

Barack O’bama was known to play up his Irish heritage every now and then during the last campaign.  Most people don’t know it, but it turns out that Obama is a seventh generation Irishman (I refuse to hyphenate Americans).  Inspired our next president’s ancestry, the Irish band the Corrigans decided to write a little song about it.

It’s nice to learn that not all Obama songs are as creepy as the propaganda performed by the children of those California weirdos.  Interestingly enough, the Corrigans may perform at the One’s Inauguration on January 20.  Cool.  Though I think the event itself may cause me to partake in another Irish tradition.

Does this tune mean I can bring back the old “O’Bama” reference for The One? This song is great! What a find!
