The “Fort Dix Six” Found Guilty

A federal jury out of Camden, New Jersey, found five of the “Fort Dix Six” terror-plotters guilty of plotting to murder US soldiers at the New Jersey fort.  The sixth potential attacker admitted guilt and has already been charged with a gun offense.

Given that Fort Dix is a mere 40-minute drive from my front porch, this is a story that hits home.  I’m glad the prosecutors and the jury nailed these guys with something – but let’s wait for sentencing.  A message needs to be sent that even though they didn’t go through with the attack, they would have if given the chance, and people would have died as they would try to kill or harm ”as many American soldiers as possible.”
