Coulter Banned from NBC?

According to Druge, Coulter has been banned from NBC “for life”.  A recently-scheduled appearance on NBC’s Today Show to promote her new book, Guilty.  According to Drudge’s sources at NBC, the theme of the book, which exposes the Media’s unprecedented bias in the 2008 Presidential Election, was the reason for the cancellation.

The ironic thing is that this just proves Coulter’s point, and NBC is really playing right into her hand.  The cancellation will cause more publicity than the actual interview probably would have, and Coulter will sell more books.

NBC was the clear winner in the 2008 Media Sweepstakes for “Most Biased Network,” with the Olbermann-Matthews team-up on MSNBC, and it appears that they are fighting hard to keep the title.

Another insider at Today, rather than confirming that it was the book’s subject matter, instead points to Coulter’s disagreement’s with the incoming Messiah, Lord and Savior Obama.

We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now.  It’s such a downer.  It’s just not the time, and it’s not what our audience wants, either.

Because NBC has a proven track record of delivering what their audience wants.  Which is why MSNBC is in last place among the networks, and NBC is losing viewers like Congress spends money.

Point, Coulter.

UPDATE: It now appears that NBC has relented to pressure after the Drudge onslaught, and Ann will get even higher ratings tomorrow as a result.

Ann Coulter’s book is not outrageous. She is part of the neo-con, zionist machine. Her books are not controversial, they are neo-con wet dreams. Read a book that’s actually been banned like “America Deceived”, not a corporate-approved Coulter ‘novel’. Don’t waste your hard-earned money on Coulter.

Gotta love Coulter Book Release Day! There are certain words that, when uttered by a lib, immediately signal that the lib is not to be taken seriously. I’d like to thank Wallace for making this Coulter Book Release Day memorable by actually using three of them: “neo-con” “zionist” and “corporate.” Looks like Annie C. really struck some nerves this time!

I need to disagree with Chris though. Ann doesn’t drive them crazy; she just pokes them through the bars of their cages so we can enjoy the craziness that’s already there. I can’t wait to pick up my copy of Guilty in a few minutes.

“…corporate-approved…” novel? Yikes! Annie C sure knows how to bring ‘em out!

Alas, I’m going to wait a bit before buying the book. I’ve recently absorbed A LOT of new and useful points of view and information to synthesize from reading Jonah Goldberg’s totally awesome “Liberal Fascism” and Mark Steyn’s very entertaining yet dark “America Alone,” (a book Canadian Muslims wanted to ban up there) so I’m putting off Annie C for another week or so to enjoy it more fully when I do pick it up. As a small plug — Steyn’s writing is very Coulter-esque when he’s ranting; he’s not Annie C, but he’s up there!
