Miracle on the Hudson River

Right now we know only a few things:  US Airways Flight 1549 went down at 3:26pm EST into the frigid Hudson River, leaving from LaGuardia on route to Charlotte, and that all 155 people have survived!

Details are still coming in and US Airways won’t speculate on why the plane went down, but some FAA experts believe that the culprit may have simply been a flock of birds getting sucked into the engines, causing a dual engine blowout.

Nonetheless, having the engines blowout and setting the plane down in a river without going into a certain-death roll is simply amazing!   On top of that, all the passengers were rescued before the plan submerged into the frigid water.  Amazing.
