Bloomberg’s Thin Skin on Kennedy

New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg has always been a liberal, occasionally piggy-backing on others during his climb to power (read: Rudy Giuliani).

That being said, Mayor Mike’s thin skin (or utter reluctance to criticize the Kennedy Klan) came out when he described the press’ treatment of CAROLINE KENNEDY as “reprehensible” and ”totally inappropriate” in regards to the nanny-thing, the tax-thing, and the marriage-thing, adding:

“I have no idea where it came from and, no, I don’t know her personal life well enough to know whether there’s anything there whatsoever.”

Calling the whole thing:

“…as good an example of cheap dirty politics as you could ever find.”

Umm… do we really know all the full details of Kennedy’s demons, or is it just the mere fact that such information exists which has gotten Mayor Mike all miffed?  But gimme a break!  Caroline was a terrible candidate with no real political experience who had potentially serious personal issues in her closet that the MSM decided they weren’t going to ignore.  They actually treated her kind of like a Republican (a first for a Kennedy) – however, not quite Sarah Palin-style treatment.

At the end of the day, this is probably just an extension of a budget battle between Governor Paterson’s crew and Bloomberg’s desire for more handouts from Albany.

Not even close to Sarah Palin treatment.

Why would anyone consider electing someone like Caroline Schlossberg who has no experience, can’t talk off the cuff (‘ya know’) and doesn’t want to be challenged…oh wait, 62 million Americans did that last November.
