Rush at CPAC

I was sitting at the car dealership yesterday getting ready to pick up my new sweet ride, when I looked at the clock.  It was 4:40pm and I was going to miss Rush’s speech to CPAC.  Suddenly, the last people in the waiting room left and I decided to fiddle with the TV in order to see some Rush pre-game.  As it turns out Rush started at 4:45pm and I caught the first fifteen minutes before having to go!   I’ve been trying to get caught up ever since.

Rush was great.  He always is.  All conservatives appreciate Rush’s intellectual value as being rooted in thought, rationality, common sense, with some humor thrown in.  He encourages us, yet philosophically tells us nothing new, just what we already know.  In turn we are glad someone is saying it.  If the very networks and MSM hounds who hate him would just have done their proper job, then he never would have existed in the first place and their nemesis would never have been born.  Karma can be quite painful, though the MSM still tries to get their shots in whenever they can.

Well, when the major cable networks carry a Rush speech at a conservative conference, it’s a national shock!  You can YouTube the entire address or wait for a reairing on C-SPAN, but one segment caught my attention enough to want to share here – the part where he explains why he’s rooting against Obama:

Classic Rush:  clear, concise, with an easy to understand football metaphor.  You can’t go wrong with Rush!  Mega Dittoes!  I think CPAC was a resounding success this year at jazzing up the base and putting RINOs on edge — the party’s energy is not with them, it’s with the conservative alternative to their Democrat-lite agenda.

I love the link on Rush’s critics. So let me get this straight (no pun intended). Rush’s sissy critics react to Rush mocking their sissiness by hysterically whining like a sissy? Classic.
