Russian Agression Poses Threat

In what appears to be a move to ignite Cold War II, the Russians are threatening to station Russian military bombers in both Cuba and Venezuela.  This is a blatant attempt to provoke the United States, or at the very least test the mettle of The One.  What frightens me is that Obama does not seem to have any appreciation whatsoever about the threats in this world and any interest in protecting and defending this country.

FDR was an unabashed liberal who introduced many bad policies that set the stage for the big-government mess we find ourselves in today.  Yet despite his liberalism on domestic affairs he was a patriot who knew his responsibility in defending and protecting this nation.  His leadership during World War II helped us to prosecute and win the biggest war in our nation’s history.  Unfortunately, the Democrat Party of today does not share his view of the world outside of the United States.  Obama’s mettle as a leader is likely to be tested in the coming months.  Regardless of party and ideology, I hope he steps up and does the right things to defend and protect our nation.  Suffice to say, what I have seen so far of his administration does not inspire me with confidence.

America’s enemies smell weakness in Comrade Obama. It is not hard to figure out why. The democratic party has a long and dishonorable history of kissing up to America’s enemies rather than standing up to them. Obama has not shown that he is any different.
