Lecturing the Iraqi Police

Here’s a video of a US soldier saying to a group of Iraqi policeman everything America needs to say at this stage of the game:

WARNING:  Profanities directed at lazy Iraqi policemen

Where does this soldier’s outburst come from?

The Iraqi Security Force is becoming a great group of fighters.  They are the Iraqi Army and are well-trained, take most of the leads now in the fighting, and demonstrate their loyalty to a unified and stable Iraq everyday.

This was NOT a lecture directed at them.

The group in the video are Iraqi policemen — they are by far the most corrupt and corruptible group in the security apparatus.  I guarantee that the soldier is correct that many of them are in al Sadr’s Mahdi Army (the major Shi’ite milita) and are taking advantage of American blood, sweat, and tears in the field.  They need a good lecture before we leave, and today they got one!
