Fox News decided to follow-up on a story regarding Samuel Armas’ first baby photo at 21-weeks old in August 1999.  It is the earliest direct physical interaction between two strangers ever recorded and was used as testimony leading to the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2000.  The operation which led to Michael Clancey’s famous photograph was a ground-breaking procedure performed in-utero to help Samuel’s spina bifida.  Today, Samuel’s a 9-year-old who needs to wear leg braces but lives a normal life with a full appreciation for the sanctity of that life.
