I’m not even kidding – in a time of the “worst economic crisis since the Great Depression” the US government has decided that among the important things on which we MUST spend money is teaching Chinese prostitutes (in China, by the way) safe drinking habits while “on the job.” In fact, the tab runs about $2.6 million of our hard-earned tax dollars! They even PC’d the titles from “prostitute” to “female sex worker” (FSW) and “pimp” to “gatekeepers.”
So, why dump our cash into studying and promoting good drinking habits for Southern Chinese hussies? Easy! Because HIV is out of control in Guangxi Province!
Hmm… right… But, I’m still kind of confused as to why a fraction of my tax money needs to go to this most important issue at this time for this purpose.
Here’s a thought though: maybe, ummm, they could (perhaps) close down the sex-shops and stop the unbridled (ha!) spreading of HIV to random customers from the drunk Chinese chicks? Just a thought.
