Mr. Gorbachev, This Wall Is None of Our Business

It can be difficult to make a good point on cable news in this 24 hour cycle, but I have to hand it to Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett for doing just that.  Just a few minutes ago, he succinctly compared Obama’s handling of the Iranian uprising to Ronald Reagan’s leadership during the Cold War, arguing that Reagan “didn’t stand there and say ‘Mr. Goberchev, this wall is none of our business.”

He also didn’t just stanad there and say, “Yeah, you just keep those hostages. We’ll keep negotiating.”

Yes Reagan didn’t say that, but Reagan didn’t have ties to Communism, nor was his Father a Communist, nor was he sympothetic to the Communist world.
