I’m not trying to turn this into an all-Palin, all the time blog. Really, I’m not. I had fully intended to ignore the subject of Sarah Palin for a while after writing about Peggy’s elitist attack on Sarah Palin on Friday, but one bit of news coming directly from Sarah Palin piqued my interest. Yesterday, Palin announced that she is planning on staying heavily involved in politics, and plans to travel around the country campaigning for candidates who share her values of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and energy independence — regardless of whether the candidate is a Republican, Democrat, or Independent.
I am not sure that this will have any practical effect, in that there are few (if any) small government Democrats. However, if Sarah can help mount primary challenges in the south from some traditional real blue-dog Democrats (as opposed to the so-called Blue Dogs that currently populate the halls of Congress), she may be able to put together a conservative coalition that is party-agnostic. At the very least, positioning herself as “bi-partisan” will go a long way towards drawing in the average independent swing voter. After three more years of Hope and Change, voters may be ready for a true political outsider who embraces small, limited government, and Sarah Palin may be the perfect person to bring that perspective to the table.

I didn’t think she’d leave politics, so I’m not surprised about the news. I am, however disappointed in the Christie Campaign and the fact that they are setting themselves up for a shot in the foot by not welcoming Palin to campaign on Christie’s behalf . Too bad that Jay Webber wasn’t able to convince his people otherwise.
This poor ignorant excuse for a mother will soon be back where she belongs, a small backwater town north of two borders. And you mindless sycophants will have to find another starstruck moron to follow with your tebags. Good luck.
