In 1978, changes to U.S. law allowed for the existence of Microbreweries (one of the few good laws to come out of the Carter administration). Led by the Boston Beer Company, the U.S. Craft Beer movement created many fabulous brews that are enjoyed by beer lovers here in the states, and worldwide. Next summer, a documentary about the history of the U.S. microbreweries and the craft beer movement, entitled Beer Pioneers will be released.
