This post is for conservative Family Guy fans.
I used to love Brian the dog. In the first few seasons, he was great comic relief: Peter’s loyal side-kick, a wonderful foil for Stewie, a talking dog with a drinking problem — the possibilities were endless!
So what did the writers of Family Guy do by the third season? They turned him into a flaming liberal douche bag! I’ve been kind of rooting against Brian for years now.
Well, last night it finally happened. Early in the episode, Peter tells Brian that Quagmire hates him. As a secondary plot, Brian tries to find out why Quagmire hates him. Eventually, Brian gets Quagmire to go to dinner with him. Over that dinner this exchange occurs (the money political swipe begins at 1:30):
