Bi-Partisan Bull

President Obama made an impromptu appearance at the daily White House press briefing today, at which he renewed calls for “bi-partisanship” and called for a “give-and-take” in which some Republican ideas were used along with some Democrat ideas.  He also called for an end to “grandstanding” and the political posturing of Washington.  The hypocrisy of this is staggering.  It was only a year ago that Republicans tried to offer ideas in good faith, only to have all of their ideas squashed and the President declare “I won.“  It was Obama and the Democrats who shut Republicans out of ObamaCare negotiations and refused to consider even one of their ideas.  It was Obama and the Democrats who couldn’t even bring Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins into the ObamaCare fold.  So, Mr. President, what are you willing to concede in order to get this “bi-partisanship” you so want?
