Another Broken Obama Promise

I know, I know.  Obama broke another promise.  Big surprise.  It would be more newsworthy to put up a promise that Obama kept, because as we all know, “All of Obama’s promises have an expiration date.  All of them.”  (phrase attributed to Jim Geraghty).  It’s still worth pointing out, however, in case someone comes across this post who has been hopelessly drinking the kool-aid that Obama is “the one” and that he was going to change the way business has been done in Washington, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

Today, Barack Obama signed ObamaCare into law, a mere two days after it was passed.  Let’s look at what Obama said in 2008 about signing legislation passed by Congress:

Obama has changed the way business has been done in Washington.  He has made it more corrupt, filled with more backroom deals, less transparency, more like Chicago politics than it ever has been before.  Hopey-Change America!  This is the new era of OBAMA.  Learn to love it!
