Muslims in Space?

Back to school, kids:

#1.  According to the head of NASA, the “foremost” mission of the space agency will be which of the following:

A.)  going back to the moon

B.)  expanding the International Space Station

C.)  developing the next generation of space transportation crafts

D.)  improving relations with the Muslim world

Any third grader would pick A B or C since D has nothing to do with NASA.  However, in the Obama Nation, the chief NASA administrator’s job has become the improvement of relations with the Muslim world, making them feel good about math and science so that they can contribute somehow to the future of space exploration.

Sure, we’ll keep the whole space-thing on NASA’s back burner, but priorities are priorities in this administration!  Yet, for all this time I didn’t realize that exploring the final frontier included politically correct overtures to Muslims, but I guess those calculations are above my pay grade.

So, will the administration use this opportunity to focus on trading suicide vests for space suits?  We’ll see how that turns out.
