How Many Abortions Did You Pay for Today?

CNS has reported that President Obama’s Executive Order prohibiting the taxpayer funding for abortions is ostensibly worthless.  Remember, that Executive Order (aka Bart Stupak’s pound of flesh) was issued to plug a loophole in Obama Care that would use taxpayer money to fund abortions.  Perennial passage of the Hyde Amendment since the 1980s continued the ban on using my money to pay for your abortion, but pro-life Democrat votes were needed to pass Obama Care with the promise that an Executive Order would come to replace and reinforce those protections (I remember laughing at that — remember who Obama is, a man comfortable with infanticide).

I hope those Democrats feel like real crap right now.

This revelation came as HHS is giving Pennsylvania $160 million to set up a “high-risk insurance pool” that covers abortions.  That’s federal money (our money) going to fund potential abortions, despite an Executive Order stating the contrary.  The Obama Nation remains silent in response to these developments, as we figured they would.
