BP Oil Plug — So Far So Good

It’s been nearly 48 hours since BP’s latest attempt to plug the leak stopped the gushing.  So, far so good on stopping the leak, but more tests are coming which may include letting the oil flow again to test the pressure.

In the meantime, President Obama has been rigorously working on his golf game and blasting Republicans for being mean ol’ meanies.  But, aside from his 41 rounds of vacation golf (not including all his time spent on the White House putting green), his laser-like focus on that three-letter word “j-o-b-s,” and his incessant advocacy of “recovery summer” (whatever that means), BP Obama also squeezed in time to stop the leak, working so intensely that the media has been told to go away — I guess even messiah-like greatness can get distracted by all those pesky reporters.
