Gen Xers are Going to Church

Not all Gen Xers are slackers when it comes to religion anyway.  A new study finds that Gen Xers are more likely to be religiously engaged than Baby Boomers are.  While there are many reasons for this, the study marks a reversal of a trend away from organized religion.  Some attribute this to the “dynamic and textured” nature of today’s religious groups, allowing Gen Xers to shop more effectively without dropping out.  This doesn’t mean the overall trend of non-affiliated Americans is shrinking, but it’s a great sign.
