Kerry: The Voters are Stupid

Looking down his ruling class nose at the woefully ignorant plebes, Massachusetts Senator John F’in Kerry uttered this gem last Friday:

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening.”

This statement was in regards to ObamaCare and the general malaise that has descended over the Democrats lately.  The message:  maybe we didn’t make ourselves clear over the last twenty months — you’ll take what we’re giving you and you’ll like it!

I’d say the voters were smart in one way — they didn’t elect him President in 2004.  Ha!

Kerry and crew are snootily falling back on the standard classic ruling class attitude whenever their backs are up against the wall — YOU must be the dumb ones because we’re just so awesome.  The electorate knows perfectly well what’s going on:  ridiculous unemployment, spending like they want to destroy the system, no real federal budget since Bush left office, an impending tax increase on business, a completely confused administration, etc.

It seems like it will be Kerry and crew who may be the ignorant ones in five weeks.
