Democrat Desperation: Contriving a Foreign Donor Scandal

Remember back in 2000 picking on Algore and his latest incarnations?  One swipe in particular was to call him Al “I Didn’t Know It was a Buddhist Temple” Gore.  Also, remember the cloud surrounding Johnny Chung around the Clinton Administration regarding Chinese influence for White House access?

So, let me be a little suspicious when Democrats accuse conservative groups like the Chamber of Commerce and Republicans like Karl Rove of accepting illegal foreign donations and funneling that money to Republican candidates, especially when the accusations began with former Clintonista John Podesta.  By the way, there is no tangible proof of any wrong-doing by the Chamber.  It also turns out that Podesta heads the “Center for American Progress,” a leftist group married to a socialist/progressive agenda who’d love to keep the Obama Nation revving on full throttle after November.

This contrived “scandal” is merely a distraction designed to get the all-too-willing MSM to spend their time in this election season doing what they love:  as Rush would say, piling on Republicans not on the basis of the evidence, but the seriousness of the charge.
