Lurch Gets Frustrated

John Kerry recently articulated exactly what he believes about the electorate this cycle, and it frustrates him:

“It’s absurd. We’ve lost our minds. We’re in a period of know-nothingism in the country, where truth and science and facts don’t weigh in. It’s all short-order, lowest common denominator, cheap-seat politics.”

The biggest laugh regards Lurch’s anger at the “stunning” amount of Republican “obstructionism.”  Maybe Lurch doesn’t realize that over the last two years his party has had the largest political majorities of any party since 1966!  Even if you buy his argument, maybe the people want a little obstructionism given the suicidal Democrat agenda these last few years!

It ain’t just the GOP getting queasy;  it’s the Dems reacting to blowback from that unruly uneducated plebeian riff-raff our noble patrician elites have been tasked with govering.  How does John Kerry cope?  Apparently not very well — he’s articulating his true disdain towards the uncooperative masses.
