Newsweek Revisionist Takes on Obama’s Jobs Record

Newsweek’s Jonathan Alter had published his book The Promise: President Obama, Year One in May.  However, recently released was a new epilogue for the paperback edition which begins the revisionism:  the problem with the Obama Administration’s lack of focus on jobs over the last two years has nothing to do with the big man himself being aloof and disengaged on virtually everything that was not consistent with his statist agenda, but rather it was Emanuel, Summers, and Axelrod just being all dysfunctional and stuff.

Harry Truman once had a plaque which read:  “The Buck Stops Here.”  If Obama didn’t like the “dysfunction” he should have fired those people.  While Alter’s epilogue will apparently upset those at the White House (ha!), this seems like another attempt to throw more people under Obama’s bus rather than put the blame squarely at the man in charge.

Don’t worry, though, most of the drama in Alter’s new epilogue will revolve around Bill Clinton being disrespected by the administration.  I’m learning to always watch what the other hand is doing with these MSM-types.
