Feds to Probe Poor NYC Snow Removal

The Blizzard of 2010 is still causing trouble in New York City.  Now, the feds are opening a criminal probe as to whether or not leaders of the Sanitation and Transportation Departments in NYC told their employees to deliberately slow down  snow removal efforts during the storm, probably to either milk overtime pay or make a point to the city after the blizzard.

Whether the poor performance was deliberate or caused by the act of God itself, this new investigation only piles onto the negative view of the union’s already tarnished public face.  Unfortunately for NYC, you know what also amassed amongst the lingering piles of snow — garbage.
