Russian state television is reporting that 35 people are dead and another 152 wounded after a suicide bomber attacked Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport earlier today.  Although President Medvedev as promised to track down those responsible for the bombing, no perpetrators have yet been identified.

CNN notes that Russia has been the frequent target of terrorists from Chechnya, but curiously hasn’t inquired into the motivation behind those sympathetic to the Chechan cause.  Fortunately, the British media is willing to dig a little deeper.  According to the Telegraph,

No group has yet taken responsibility for the attack, but dozens of people, writing in Russian, praised the suicide bomber on unofficial Islamist site (Redacted.  Sorry, Axis of Right doesn’t link to terrorist websites).

I never would have seen that coming.

We here at Axis of Right extend our sympathy to the victims, their families, and the Russian people.  You are in our prayers.
