The Darth Volkswagen Ad

I was not impressed nor gave much more than a polite chuckle to any ads featured in this year’s Super Bowl.  I’m not trying to be snotty or hard-to-please– they just weren’t that good.  I might see some of the movies advertised, but I’m not going to buy a Passat and have yet to visit “Go”.

There was nothing memorable like “1984” or even like last year’s “Green Police” craziness.  That may be asking too much, though.  At least there were no gimmicky dancing monkeys.   However, the ad of the night according to some still trying to figure out what makes Gen X tick, was this one from Volkswagen:

I’m sure everyone at work had some kind of conversation about the ads by the water cooler today, but this year’s crop was really “meh” in my opinion… unlike the game, which is what Super Bowl’s really all about!

Either way, here’s the site on which to review all the mediocrity.
