Mitt’s Fit Over RomneyCare

Mitt Romney gave a high-profile speech today defending his largest political bane, RomneyCare, and offering solutions going forward to repeal and replace ObamaCare if elected President.

Sometimes, I just don’t get politicians.

Romney has been known for his flip-flopping over the years.  So, of ALL the issues he’s NOT going to do a complete flip-flop on, he’s chosen to make a stand on this one — the worst possible issue for Republican primary voters!  I don’t get it.

Strangely, this reminds me of Zippergate.  Everyone knew Clinton messed around, and there was generally a wink-and-a-nod reaction from the press and the public until he wagged that finger at us.  Of all his infidelities, Monica would be his Waterloo?  I didn’t get it.

Essentially, after this speech Mitt should probably save himself millions of dollars and begin pushing for a cozy Treasury job should a Republican win next year.
