Lech Walesa Snubs Obama

I never thought I’d see the day when Lech Walesa couldn’t find time to meet with the President of the United States.  Then again, I never thought I’d see the day when we had a President like Barack Obama.  Truth be told, Walesa refusal to meet Obama is a little disappointing because the two men have so much in common.

Walesa earned the Nobel Peace Prize for courageously leading, at great personal risk, the Solidarity movement in resistance to Poland’s Communist regime.  His efforts, along with those of the U.S. under President Reagan and Pope John Paul II helped liberate half a continent from Communist oppression.  Obama also won the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in um, well, a few pieces of Eurotrash really like Obama.

Never mind, I guess a Nobel Prize winner from the Committee’s Mother Teresa era and a Nobel Prize winner from the Committee’s Yasser Arafat era don’t have much in common after all.

A man of honor who personally lived through the savageries of a hard left Socialist regime. What a breath of breath of fresh air! In my view, like “the bitch slap heard around the world” as someone put Bibi’s lecturing the clown prince few days ago we once again see a real leader lecturing our child president. Good for him! If only our leaders and so much of the electorate in general had the balls to stand up for their ideals and rights as has Lech Walesa!
