McConnell Offers Terrible Alternative Debt Plan

in Economy,Stupid government

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, frustrated by the debt talks, channeled his inner weak-kneed RINO and offered a potential last-ditch debt plan.  Essentially, the President gets to raise the debt ceiling three times within a year without Congressional approval, not requiring any cuts to balance the increase, and ensuring a never-going-to-happen super-majority to stop him.

So, McConnell proposes giving the President more fiat power over the economy at a time when he and the bureaucracy are crushing the economy.

Simply:  it’s cowardly and it’ll never pass the House.  So, why even propose it and how does this help the Republican’s hand in these negotiations?  Ugh.
